Roma transfer news: Mourinho hit with double ban after confirming stay!

Roma manager Jose Mourinho has seemingly confirmed that he will still be in the Italian capital, managing the Giallorossi next season. There were doubts about his future following their Europa League final defeat. But, when the fans asked him about his future after their final game of the season, the Portuguese tactician pointed to the ground, indicating that he would be staying at the club for at least one more season.

After spending the 22/23 season on loan with Leeds United, Roma are pursuing a permanent transfer for the defender. They are happy with his performances and have an agreement on personal terms. All parties want the deal to go through, and it seems like only a matter of time before the structure of the deal is finalised. Discussions will take place soon for the two clubs to iron out the details of the move.

Roma have also agreed personal terms with Leeds United right-back Rasmus Kristensen, and are working to agree a deal to sign him permanently. The expectation is that both defenders will make the move to the Italian capital, once the two clubs have fully agreed on the intricacies of the deal.

Ajax have completed an €8.5 million deal to sign Benjamin Tahirovic from Roma. The youngster has been highly praised by Jose Mourinho, who has also predicted a bright future for him. And with Ajax’s history of developing youngsters into top talents, there is a very good chance we will be seeing him in the headlines in a matter of time again.

The 20-year-old defensive midfielder only made 13 appearances for the first team this past season, with limited minutes. Following the arrival of Houssem Aouar and the presence of many names ahead of him, he has moved on to further his development by getting regular game time.

Roma transfer news: Paulo Dybala release clause details

The Argentine has enjoyed a remarkable first season in the Italian capital. His last minute penalty against Special helped them qualify for the Europa League next season. Moreover, he also rescued the club by scoring a late goal in the Europa League semi-finals to help them advance to the finals this season.

The details of his release clause have now been revealed. A move to another Italian club has been priced at €20 million. On the other hand, foreign clubs could sign Paulo Dybala by only paying €12 million. The final decision in both cases would rest on Dybala, given that an agreement on personal terms is necessary for a move to go through.

In the case of Italian clubs, Roma have the option to cancel the transfer by increasing his salary to €6 million from €3.8 million right now.

Roma transfer news: Scamacca in talks to replace Tammy Abraham after ACL injury

Roma’s director, Tiago Pinto, is anticipated to visit London in the upcoming week for negotiations on a potential loan move for Gianluca Scamacca, a forward from West Ham United. Scamacca, who had a less than stellar first season in England following his transfer from Sassuolo, might now come back as a replacement for the injured Tammy Abraham.

Personal terms have been agreed with the player for a return to Italy, but West Ham United are not willing to let him leave on a loan deal. They are looking to offload him on a permanent transfer, and a deal for the forward looks difficult as things stand.

In spite of their Europa League qualification, Roma were hit with bad news as Tammy Abraham suffered an ACL injury on the final day of the season. The English striker was brought off shortly after the hour mark and it now seems that he will be sidelined until the end of the year until November or December.

The player has undergone surgery and is expected to be out for the next six to nine months at the very least.
