Millions of Indian creators just stopped having to think in a second language. Roblox has officially rolled out full Hindi support across the platform, Creator Hub, and Roblox Studio — a first step in what the company calls a deeper localization push for India.
What’s Actually New
Users can now set Hindi as their account language and get a fully localized Roblox interface. Switching over takes seconds: open the Roblox app, go to Settings > Account Info > Language, select Hindi, and save. The update also brings automatic Hindi translation for creators, covering in-game strings, game products, game names, and descriptions — with minimal extra effort required to make content accessible to Hindi-speaking audiences.

| Feature | What It Covers |
|---|---|
| Interface Language | Full Hindi UI across app, Creator Hub, Studio |
| Auto-Translation | In-game strings, product names, descriptions |
| SEO Support | Hindi-indexed platform, asset & experience links |
| Coming Soon | Hindi chat translation |
Why This Is A Big Deal For Indian Creators
Sunil Rao, Managing Director of Roblox India, said language shouldn’t be a barrier to creativity, and that unlocking Hindi opens the platform to a vast, passionate community of Indian gamers and creators. It’s described as the beginning of a dedicated strategy to unite and elevate India’s gaming ecosystem — not a one-off feature drop.
Roblox SEO Angle Nobody’s Talking About
Alongside the interface update, Roblox has enabled Hindi SEO support, meaning language-specific platform, asset, and experience links can now be indexed by search engines. In practice, that means Roblox games and creations become far easier to discover for users searching in Hindi — a meaningful boost for creators trying to grow an audience beyond English search terms.
Chat translation in Hindi is planned next, aiming to make cross-language communication even smoother for India’s creator community.
