Another month, another reshuffle. The October individual idol rankings are out, and while the top spot didn’t change hands, there’s plenty of movement just behind it.

How the Ranking Works?

The Korean Business Research Institute analysed consumer participation, media coverage, interaction and community awareness indexes for 1,735 idols. The data covers September 21 to October 21.

Resene

The Top 5 RESCENE: Overview

RankIdolGroupBrand Reputation IndexChange vs. Last Month
1WoniRESCENE8,709,318+10.82%
2JiminBTS8,361,896+22.15%
3ZenaRESCENE7,271,332+23.16%
4Jang Won YoungIVE6,810,221+47.49%
5JungkookBTS6,095,986+18.41%

What Stands Out?

Woni holds on. The RESCENE member stayed at No. 1. Her keyword analysis featured “REMINE” and “photocard,” and her related terms included “advertise,” “participate” and “playful.” Her positivity score came in at 95.03 percent, which is impressively high.

Jimin stays second, and growing. BTS’s Jimin held his place with a 22.15 percent rise, narrowing the distance to first place. Jungkook also made the top five.

Zena rises to third. She gave RESCENE a second spot in the top three, up 23.16 percent.

Jang Won Young is the biggest mover. The IVE member climbed to fourth with a 47.49 percent jump, the largest increase among the top five. Fans may also notice that she is hosting Day 2 of the Music Bank Global Festival in Japan in December, so her name is clearly everywhere right now.

The Rest of the Top 10

BLACKPINK’s Jennie came sixth, followed by BTS’s Jin and ATEEZ’s San. RESCENE’s Minami and Liv took ninth and tenth, so RESCENE has four members in the top ten. Further down, G-Dragon, aespa’s Karina and Winter, and Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon, Yoona and Taeyeon all make the top 30. LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Chaewon appears at 27.

Reading Between the Numbers

Brand reputation scores measure online attention, not talent or popularity in any absolute sense. They track how much people are talking about, engaging with and searching for an idol in a given month. That’s why big percentage jumps often follow comebacks, appearances or viral moments.

Still, the list is a handy snapshot of who is getting attention in K-pop right now. The mix of rookie-era groups, global superstars and veteran acts shows how varied the fan conversation is.

Conclusion

The most interesting number here isn’t the winner’s score. It’s the growth rates. Every top-five name rose by double digits, and Jang Won Young’s near-50 percent jump could put her in the race for first next month. Keep an eye on this chart.
