Reporting Live Release Date and Where to Watch

Reporting Live premieres exclusively on Netflix on October 9, 2026, with a global release. It’s a straight-to-streaming film, so there’s no theatrical run to wait for. A Netflix subscription is all you need to watch it.

What Is Reporting Live About?

Parineeti Chopra plays Sandhya, an ambitious field reporter. After a fatal incident, she and her reluctant cameraman Vinod, played by Deven Bhojani, start asking questions that powerful people would rather keep buried. Their digging leads them into the dangerous world of illegal sand mining, where a story can cost you everything. It’s a grounded, real-world premise, and that’s what makes it gripping.

Cast and Crew Worth Knowing

Along with the two leads, the film features veterans like Amol Palekar, Adil Hussain and Shekhar Suman. The trailer also lists Nassar, Saswata Chatterjee, Pitobash Tripathy and Sameer Kochhar. Dhruv Tripathi directs and co-wrote the script with Mihir Jadhav. He has said he lived with this film for seven years, and it’s his feature debut. That personal investment might be exactly what gives it an edge.

Why It’s Worth Your Weekend?

This is Parineeti’s second Netflix project this year, following Shaque: Trust No One. Her pairing with Deven Bhojani is a fresh one, and the film promises a real-life-style thriller with ordinary people at its heart. If you enjoy newsroom dramas and crime stories, this looks like a solid pick for the weekend.
