Earlier this month, it was reported that Xiaomi is developing a new tablet named the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G. A live image of the tablet just recently has been leaked, and now it has made its way to NBTC certification with model number 24076RP19G.

That certification is for a product called Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G and points to its arrival in Thailand. The tablet had appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards website before as well, with the model number 24076RP19I. Though these certifications don’t reveal any details, prior FCC listings have suggested it will be an 8-inch tablet running Xiaomi’s Hyper OS 1.0 overlaid atop Android as well as supporting dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and come with LTE containing FM receiver support.

According to the details, the coming up Redmi Pad SE 8.7 tablet is most likely its smaller edition of Xiaomi’s existing product line Xiaomi Pad SE that has already had an outgoing version with a bigger display size of around 11 inches. The Redmi Pad SE features an 11-inch full HD (1920 x 1200 pixels) resolution, a refresh rate of up to90Hzwith8-bitLCD display along with a peak brightness of around 400 nits and 180Hz touch sampling.

The device is powered by the Snapdragon 680 processor, and it can offer three RAM configurations: 4GB/6 GB/8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB of eMMC5.1 storage at maximum. It also includes a microSD card slot supporting memory expansion up to 1TB.

For battery life, the tablet houses an 8,000mAh battery capable of providing over 28 hours of video playback and supports 10W charging via a USB Type-C port. It features additional amenities such as a 3.5mm audio jack and a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos tuning and Hi-Res audio support.

Operating on Android 13-based MIUI for Pad, the Redmi Pad SE offers AI face unlock and is equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0.
