Additionally, the alleged Redmi Note 14 Pro has made its way to China’s 3C certification listings with some fast charging data. Internally, the Redmi Note 14 Pro is dubbed “Amethyst” and comes with model number O16U. The report says that the recently reported Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset will power this device.

This chipset was introduced by Qualcomm at a special event hosted yesterday, and the highlight of this CDU is due to its 4nm process as well as on-device AI support. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 will feature up to a 20% performance improvement, a 40% faster GPU, and 12% power savings compared to its predecessor. This is in comparison to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset that was inside the Redmi Note 13 Pro.

It also reveals interesting information about the camera configuration of the Redmi Note 14 Pro. The global variant is expected to feature a triple camera array, including a telephoto lens, while the Chinese version will reportedly have a macro sensor instead. Although the listing does not confirm the marketing name, it is believed to be the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G. The listing indicates the phone will support 90W fast charging, with the adapter model MDY-14-EC. In comparison, its predecessor only supported 67W fast charging.

On the same platform, even a regular Redmi Note 14 with support for fast charging at up to 45W. The Redmi Note 14 Pro is expected to feature a 1.5K AMOLED display, similar to the Redmi Note 13 Pro, and may be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, slightly smaller than the 5,100mAh cell in the Redmi Note 13 Pro. It is also likely to feature a 50MP primary camera, and a recent leak suggests the phone will have a newly designed camera layout on the back panel.
