Xiaomi is preparing to launch the version of its Redmi Note series worldwide. In an announcement, Xiaomi confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 5G series will be introduced in India on January 4, 2024. Interestingly alongside the anticipated 5G models Xiaomi will also include some 4G variants, within the series.
The Upcoming Redmi Note 13 and 13 Pro
Leaked images and detailed specifications have emerged for the Redmi Note 13 4G and Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G. Notably, these models follow the design principles of their 5G counterparts showcasing a camera module and overall aesthetic.
Both the Redmi Note 13 4G and Note 13 Pro 4G feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a rate of up to 120Hz and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The Note 13 Pro runs on an Octa-Core Snapdragon processor at 2.6GHz while the Note 13 uses the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultra chipset. Both models offer memory options with up to 12 GB RAM and ample internal storage of up to 256 GB.
They run on Android version 13 with MIUI14. Boast a high-resolution rear camera of either 200MP or 108MP with optical image stabilization (OIS). Notable design features include a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side and a convenient 3.5 mm audio jack as IP54 dust and splash resistance, for added durability.
The connectivity options available, on these devices include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type C. Both the Note 13 4G and Note 13 Pro 4G are equipped with a battery that supports fast charging. The Note 13 4G supports 33W charging while the Note 13 Pro 4G supports faster charging at 67W.
Pricing details for the Redmi Note 13 4G are anticipated to start at around EUR 199 (₹18,045) for the 6GB+128GB model and EUR 249 (₹22,575) for the 8GB+256GB model. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G is expected to be priced at EUR 349 (₹31,646) for the 8GB+256GB variant and EUR 399 (₹36,180) for the 12GB+512GB model.
