Redmi Note 10 series unboxing and hands-on video reveals key specs and design

At this very moment, the most popular topic in the smartphone market is the Redmi Note 10 series. This draws us to Xiaomi’s recent tweet where they made it clear that there all the Redmi Note 10 series smartphones will have the first-ever 120Hz super AMOLED display which is going to launch on 4th March (tomorrow).

But a couple of days ago, the unboxing and hands-on video got leaked of the Redmi Note 10 series ahead of its launch which is quite astonishing. What we can see is that there will be three smartphones in this series: Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max (no reports regarding the Max one). Let’s now talk about each of the smartphone’s leaked specifications and features.

Redmi Note 10

As per the leaked video, we can see the unboxing of the Redmi Note 10 device. The in-box contents are the main smartphone unit, Redmi Note 10 (4GB + 128GB), a 33W Power Adapter which is good to see, a USB-A to USB-C cable, a TPU case(Silicone material), and documentations.

Now, after the unboxing, let’s check out its specifications and features. The Redmi Note 10 runs MIUI 12.0.1 based on Android 11 and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 chipset. Regarding the display, it will have a 6.43-inch AMOLED punch-hole panel (not confirmed about its 120Hz refresh rate). This phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and the support for IR Blaster as well.

The SOC of this phone is likely to be paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB expandable internal storage. Although, some other leaks claim that there will be 6GB RAM and 64GB storage options as well. Coming to the camera section, this phone has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary sensor with an ultrawide, a macro, and a depth sensor as well. For selfies, this phone has a 13MP selfie snapper at the front. It has dual-speakers for a good multimedia experience. This phone has a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB-C port for faster charging.

The Redmi Note 10 is likely to be available in two different color options”: Green and White and the base model and the price range for the base model is expected to be of around ₹14,999($205).

Redmi Note 10 Pro

Like the vanilla one, an Indian Youtuber Sistech Banna has revealed the retail box image of the Redmi Note 10 Pro along with some of its key specifications. What we can see from the image is that the Note 10 Pro has a 6.53-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset and is fueled up by a bigger 5,000mAH battery supported by 30W of fast charging.

The camera module specifications are still unclear of the Redmi Note 10 Pro like whether it has a 64MP or a 108MP quad rear camera setup. But, in terms of the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, there is a higher possibility to be equipped with a 108MP rear camera setup.

Earlier reports have claimed that this phone is expected to arrive with three different RAM/storage variants: 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. This phone could be available in three different color options: Blue, Black, and Bronze, and the pricing is expected to be around Rs 20,000 (~$272).
