The Redmi K60 series of smartphones will soon be released by Redmi in China. Three models—the Redmi K60, K60 Pro, and K60E—are said to be part of the lineup, according to recent reports. The Redmi K60E’s existence was today formally acknowledged by the company. The name of the chip that will power the device was also disclosed.

According to information that leaked in November, the Redmi phone with the codename “Rembrandt” will debut in China under the name “Redmi K60E.” The Redmi device with model number 22127RK46C, which was recently approved by China’s 3C authority, is anticipated to be marketed as the Redmi K60E in the domestic market.

Redmi K60E features

The Xiaomi 12T/Redmi K50S seems to be the Redmi K60E in a new design.

The device comes with Dimensity 8200 (officially unveiled today) processor. The smartphone may, however, ship with the Snapdragon 870 mobile platform, according to a recently discovered Geekbench listing for it. But the it’s official poster, which was released today, reveals that it will contain the Dimensity 8200 chipset.

Featuring a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution support and a 120Hz refresh rate, the Xiaomi 12T is a budget smartphone. A 108-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit and a 20-megapixel front camera are both included. A 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging is included with the Dimensity 8100-Ultra powered phone, along with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

The Redmi K60E may ship with capability for 120W fast charging, according to the 3C certification. According to rumours, the Redmi K60E may be based on the Xiaomi 12T. Previous rumours said that the Xiaomi 12T will make its debut as the Redmi K50S in China, but that didn’t happen.
