Redmi K50 Series key specs leaked, reveals 108MP camera, Snapdragon 8-Series flagship SoC, and more

Redmi K50 series may come with Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 895

Redmi is reportedly working on the Redmi K50 lineup of smartphones, the K40 lineup was unveiled in the first quarter of 2021. Hence, it is likely that the company may unleash the K50 lineup around the same time next year.

Today, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station shared a few key specs of Xiaomi’s I11 Series phone. The leak suggests that he could be referring to the Redmi K50 models.

The leak reveals that the Xiaomi phone will feature a high-quality curved edge display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-Series flagship chipset, and a large-sized battery that supports 67W fast charging.

Coming to the camera specs of the device, it features a 108MP primary camera sensor. The device will offer other features such as an X-Axis linear motor and JBL dual-stereo speakers. Since JBL is a brand that Redmi collabs with on the Note 11 lineup. it can be said that the tipster could be talking about the K50 Series phone.

To be precise, he seems to have revealed the specs of the Redmi K50 Pro/Pro+ smartphone.

The K40 lineup included three phones, the K40, K40 Pro, and the K40 Pro+. It is being speculated that the K50 Series will also comprise of three devices namely, K50, K50 Pro, and the K50 Pro+.

A recent leak claimed that the K005 models will be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

This indicates that the K50 phones will be arriving with an AMOLED panel. The K50 may feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 or 870 SoC, whereas the K50 Pro/K50 Pro+ is expected to arrive with the forthcoming Snapdragon 898 chipset.
