Redmi K Series smartphone with MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset allegedly in the works

Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition was launched in China last month, is the company’s latest and the first gaming smartphone that has literally created hype with its gaming processor and price segment. That smartphone was the one with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset and now there is another smartphone alleged to be of Redmi K series is in the works. This smartphone seems to have a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset.

The source already suggests that the phone will come with a FHD+ (2400×1080p) Display with 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. There will be a 64MP rear camera. Within storage option we will get a 8GB+256GB variant that will run on Android 11. This smartphone will be powered by a 5000mAh battery that will support a 67W fast charging.

This seems to be a ‘Lite’ version of the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition but with a Dimensity 1100 chipset. So this will also cost less that the original Gaming smartphone but will also be less powerful that it. According to some reports this smartphone will be launched in India under POCO branding. Alleged POCO F3 GT will be featuring similar specifications like this smartphone. Both the smartphones might be the same, but until now there is very limited information on both the devices.
