Redmi A3: Officially Confirmed for India Launch on February 14

Xiaomi Redmi brand is getting ready to launch its smartphone, the Redmi A3 in India. The company has officially announced that the anticipated A series smartphone will debut on February 14th in the country. Along, with this announcement several details about the phone design have also been revealed.

All About the Redmi A3

Before the launch event, Xiaomi launched the Redmi A3 microsite on mi.com giving us a sneak peek into what this smartphone will offer. It has been disclosed that the device will feature a brand premium Halo design and come equipped with a USB Type-C charging port. Similar to its predecessor the A3 is expected to retain its leather textured panel. Now with an updated Halo design language incorporating a circular camera module. The teaser for the Redmi A3 also confirms that it will sport a camera setup and an LED flash aligning with recent rumors.

One notable improvement with the smartphone is its 90Hz rate display promising visuals compared to its predecessor. Additionally, this smartphone will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery. Support USB Type C charging – an upgrade, over the micro USB port found in the Redmi A2. It is being speculated that the upcoming Redmi A3 will come with 6GB of RAM and support, for RAM expansion a feature that was present, in its models. Like the Redmi A1 and Redmi A2, the Redmi A3 is anticipated to provide an Android experience.

Further details anticipated include a large 6.71-inch display with a waterdrop notch and Corning Gorilla Glass protection, a 13MP rear camera, 10W charging speeds, and more. It is likely to be available in blue, green, and black color variants. Recent leaks suggest that the smartphone may be priced starting from under ₹7,000 in the Indian market. With the launch approaching, Redmi India is expected to unveil more information about the Redmi A3 in the coming days.
