When a drama saves its biggest numbers for last, you know viewers are genuinely hooked — and Reborn Rookie is proving exactly that heading into its final week.

JTBC’s Reborn Rookie earned its highest viewership ratings yet on June 28, rising to an average nationwide rating of 11.1 percent according to Nielsen Korea — a new personal record for the series. Hitting a peak just before the finale is the kind of momentum that signals a truly satisfying ending is on its way.

Reborn Rookie: Ratings Snapshot: June 28

Drama	Network	Rating (Nationwide Avg.)	Note
Recipe for Love	KBS 2TV	15.9%	Most-watched show of Sunday
Reborn Rookie	JTBC	11.1%	New all-time series high

Meanwhile, KBS 2TV’s Recipe for Love held its ground as the most-watched programme of the entire Sunday lineup with an average nationwide rating of 15.9 percent.

Why This Milestone Matters

Crossing the 11% mark in the final stretch of a run is no small achievement in today’s fragmented viewing landscape. The jump to a series-best rating signals that word-of-mouth has been working — new viewers are catching up, existing fans are holding on tight, and the drama’s emotional payoff is building at exactly the right pace.

Reborn Rookie has been a consistent presence on the Good Data Corporation weekly buzz rankings, and this ratings surge perfectly mirrors its growing online traction. Heading into a finale week riding this high is the best possible scenario for the cast, crew, and especially the fans who have invested weeks into the story.

What to Expect in the Final Week

With the drama at peak buzz and peak viewership simultaneously, the finale week carries genuine weight. Whether the show sticks its landing or subverts expectations, one thing is certain — the audience will be watching in record numbers. Don’t miss a single episode.
