An exclusive interview with TechRadar with Realme CEO Madhav Seth reveals exclusive information about the upcoming Realme flagship smartphone series. In that interview, Madhav Sheth, the CEO of Realme Europe and Realme India, confirmed that the GT series is officially replacing the company’s previous X series.
Madhav said, “The X will be replaced by the GT; so the GT is the new X,” in the interview, which clearly means that the upcoming Realme GT series that will launch in India on 18th August will be the company’s new flagship series. This flagship series will replace the existing flagship series of Realme in India, which is the Realme X-series.
Apart from this CEO Madhav has cleared that apart from the flagship series no other series of Realme will be affected in India. That means the Realme C and numbered series like the Realme 7, 8 and its upcoming smartphones will likely remain unaffected.
So, most probably we will not see any Realme X9 series smartphones in the future, rather the company will proceed with the successors of the Realme GT smartphones in the flagship segment.
