This comparison table is taken from Gadgets 360 and has been edited in few parts for more detailed understanding of the table and few missing informations has been added as well.
Display:
Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and POCO X2 has 6.67-inches screen and supports the full-HD+ display of 1080×2400 pixels. Here the resolution of both the devices is the same but what makes them a totally different thing is their display refresh rates. The Redmi device has a 60Hz refresh rate whereas POCO comes with a butter-like 120Hz refresh rate. Now the Realme 6 Pro comes with a 6.60-inches full-HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixels resolution and an Ultra Smooth 90Hz display refresh rate. Here the POCO X2 becomes a clear winner in terms of display size as well as refresh rate.
Rear Camera:
Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has a quad rear camera setup that houses a 64MP primary sensor along with an f/1.89 lens and an 8MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle 119-degree field-of-view (FoV) f/2.2 lens. The camera setup also has a 5MP macro shooter and a 2MP depth sensor.
Poco X2 has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor with an f/1.89 lens, an 8MP secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens that has a field-of-view (FoV) of 120 degrees, 2MP tertiary sensors with an f/2.4 macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.
Realme 6 Pro has a quad rear camera setup with a 64MP Samsung GW1 primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooters with an f/2.3 aperture, a 12MP telephoto shooter with an f/2.5 aperture, and a 2MP macro shooter with an f/2.4 aperture.
Here, all the devices come with a 64MP primary sensor among all four, whereas, the POCO and Realme have dedicated Sony and Samsung’s sensors respectively. Here if you look closely both the POCO and Realme come closely, but Realme wins because of the 12MP telephoto lens it has. The telephoto lens is more useful than a dedicated depth sensor in daily life.
Front Camera:
Redmi Note 9 Pro has a single, 32MP selfie camera at the front.
Poco X2 and the Realme 6 Pro that both have dual selfie cameras. The selfie camera setup of the Poco X2 has a 20MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor.
Realme 6 Pro has a 16MP Sony IMX471 primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens and an 8MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens that has a field-of-view (FoV) of 105 degrees.
Again here, Realme 6 Pro has the best front cameras among all the three devices, because of the Sony IMX471 sensor.
Processor and Storage:
Both Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and Realme 6 Pro has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC, along with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Whereas, the Poco X2 has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC, with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Here the Snapdragon 720G slightly out-performs the Snapdragon 730G. If only the processors are the main issue we recommend that both the processors will perform more or less the same in daily usage.
Redmi Note 9 Pro has 64GB and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage that both are expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB) through a dedicated slot. Whereas, the Realme 6 Pro has everything the same as Note 9 Pro Max but can be expanded up to 256GB instead of 512GB. The Poco X2, on the other hand, has up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage that supports expansion via a hybrid microSD card slot.
Battery and Charging:
Redmi Note 9 Pro has a 5,020mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The Poco X2, on the other hand, has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 27W fast charging. The Realme 6 Pro packs a 4,300mAh battery with 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 support. So looking at the battery specs our suggestion is to go for Redmi or POCO because Realme tends to drain the battery very fast even after 6 months of usage.
Pricing:
Redmi Note 9 Pro Max price in India is set at Rs.14,999 for the 6GB + 64GB storage option, while its 6GB + 128GB storage variant carries a price tag of Rs.16,999 and the 8GB + 128GB storage model is priced at Rs.18,999.
Poco X2 price is set at Rs.15,999 for the 6GB + 64GB variant, while its 6GB + 128GB option is available at Rs.16,999 and the 8GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs.19,999.
Realme 6 Pro price in the country is set at Rs.16,999 for the 6GB + 64GB variant, whereas its 6GB + 128GB option is priced at Rs.17,999 and the 8GB + 128GB model is available at Rs.18,999.
Looking at the prices, all the base variants of the devices have an Rs.1000 increment from Redmi to Realme, where Redmi being the cheapest and Realme the highest. As there is not much of a price difference we will suggest you, go for POCO considering the price. If only you are tight on budget then also we will suggest you to spend Rs.16,000 and get the base variant of POCO X2 because it is an all in one package having a considerable price.
