Realme 12+ 5G Unveiled: Key Specifications and Design Revealed via TENAA Certification

Realme recently launched the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ smartphones, in India. There are now indications that the company is preparing to introduce the Realme 12 and Realme 12+ with 5G capabilities. Both phones have already appeared on the BIS website suggesting that their release is imminent. Additionally, the Realme 12+ has received certification from TENAA further signaling that its launch is near.

The Realme 12+ 5G identified by its model number RMX3866 was discovered on the TENAA certification platform. According to the listing, this phone is expected to come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display featuring a resolution of 2400 X 1080 pixels and a punch-hole cutout for its camera.

Internally this device will be powered by an octa-core processor running at a clock speed of 2.66GHz; however specific details regarding the chipset have not been disclosed yet. The RAM and storage options are anticipated to include choices of either 6GB, 8GB, 12GB, or up, to an impressive 16 GB of RAM paired with storage capacities ranging from 128GB all the way up to 1TB. The dimensions of the Realme 12+ 5G are expected to be around 162.95 x 75.45 x 7.87 mm while weighing about 190 grams.

When it comes to photography the phone is expected to come with three cameras on the back; a sensor of 50MP a lens of 8MP and a macro lens of 2MP. For taking selfies and making video calls there will likely be a facing camera, with a resolution of 16MP. Rumors suggest that the device will have a battery capacity of, around 4880mAh, which might be advertised as 5000mAh.

Images provided by the TENAA certification reveal a circular camera module on the rear of the device, housing the triple camera system. The Realme 12+ 5G is expected to feature a leather back panel akin to the Pro models, complemented by a metallic-vertical strip in the center. The front display is likely to incorporate a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, while the right spine of the device may accommodate the volume rocker and power buttons. This design aligns with previous observations from the MIIT certification.
