Raphael Varane’s Premier League move all set to be completed

Real Madrid and French centre-back Raphael Varane will be a Manchester United player this season as the signing is almost completed and is in the final phase.

It had been clear for a while now even before the beginning of the Euros that Raphael Varane wishes to gain some Premier League experience under his belt and Manchester United seemed to be his preferred destination.

However, the World Cup winning French defender had also made it clear that he does not intend to pressure the Real Madrid management into accepting the offer from the Premier League clubs and would’ve respected the Real Madrid’s president and management’s decision.

Raphael Varane joined Real Madrid back in 2011 from French club Lens for just €10 million under previous Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho and back then questions were raised when Mourinho preferred Varane over Pepe in the defense line but it is safe to say that it was a masterstroke from Real Madrid’s management.

And now Varane has secured a move to the Old Trafford to play for the Red Devils for a €55 million price tag.

Raphael Varane’s addition to the Manchester United defense makes the Red Devil’s defense more technical and Maguire’s tackling and Varane’s experience might just be what Manchester United needs to be potential suitors for the Premier League title.

Rumours also suggest that Varane has already made arrangements to fly to England to complete his medicals post deal completion.

Lastly, it seems that Manchester United head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not quite finished in this season’s transfer market after signing two marquee players including Varane.
