Ramon Planes is the new Barça technical secretary

The FC Barcelona board is going through a major overhaul after the heavy loss over Bayern Munich in the Champions League. Yesterday, Eric Abidal was sacked as the technical secretary who took over in 2018 and served two years at the Camp Nou but hasn’t made a significant impact at the club.

So, the club has officially announced that they have appointed Ramon Planes as their new technical secretary. Planes have previously served as the technical secretary of major Spanish clubs like Espanyol and Getafe.

He has a lot of experience under his belt playing and coaching football teams until 2007 when he became the technical secretary of Espanyol. It will interesting to see how he manages the club and revive the situation at Barça.
