Some films hit you in the first frame. The new poster for Possible Love does that with a single look: one woman staring straight ahead, a ring under her fingertips, and three blurred figures looking away.
After a theatrical run and a string of major festival wins, the film is now set to reach a global audience on Netflix on November 6. Here is what you need to know before it lands in your queue.

The Story: A Documentary That Exposes More Than Intended
Possible Love follows two married couples whose lives become tangled together. One is a laid-off worker and his wife. The other is a documentary filmmaker and her husband. When they meet to film a documentary, the differences between their lives become impossible to ignore, and so do the desires each of them has kept hidden.
It is an intimate premise: no big action set pieces, just people, a camera and the things they avoid saying. Fans of Korean drama cinema will recognise the appeal of a story that builds tension through conversation and silence. To explore the wider tradition, see this overview of Korean cinema.

Reading the Poster
A Face That Says Everything and Nothing
Mi Ok, played by Jeon Do Yeon, is the only one in clear focus. She gently touches the wedding ring on her left ring finger, and her expression could be a smile or a tear held back. That ambiguity is the point: it hints at someone who is composed on the surface but feeling a lot underneath.
Blurred Figures, Turbulent Minds
Ho Seok, Sang Woo and Ye Ji appear as blurred figures looking in different directions. The design suggests emotional ripples and restless inner worlds that spread once the characters meet. Nobody is looking at anybody, yet everybody’s lives are about to collide.
