PokerBaazi Crowns Champions of the Second ‘Greatest of All Tournaments’ with INR 10 Crore Prize Pool

The largest online poker platform in India, PokerBaazi, has released the results of the Greatest of All Events (G.O.A.T.), one of the country’s most renowned poker events. Over 12 days, around 17,000 entrants competed and displayed their abilities, with Bengaluru-based IT consultant Arun Vijay Mutgi taking home the title of G.O.A.T. as the winner.

In the tournament’s second iteration, participants used their abilities to compete for cash prizes. After nine exciting hours of intense competition between the most outstanding and well-known players in Indian poker, Arun Vijay Mutgi emerged victorious with a winning of INR 1.5 crore, followed closely by Sreekanth KN from Kerala with a winning of INR 1.5 crore.

“I have been playing poker for ten years, and over that time, I have realized and understood that one needs to focus on improving skills continuously and evaluating every play,” said Arun Vijay Mutgi, thrilled with his performance. I think this had a big impact on my development as a poker player and eventually helped me take home the championship. I am grateful to PokerBaazi for offering venues like The Greatest of All Tournaments, which allow aspiring players like myself to show off our skills on such a grand scale. I am thrilled to have shared the stage with such esteemed poker professionals.

Navkiran Singh, the founder and CEO of Baazi Games, commented on the tournament’s completion and congratulated the victor, saying, “It is heartening to see the way online gaming, especially poker, has evolved and gained acceptance in the country as a mind sport.” The talent component still plays a significant role in fueling the development of this mental activity.
