POCO F9 Series Confirmed for September 1st Global Launch

POCO has officially locked in the date. The POCO F9 series, billed as “the all-round performance flagship,” launches globally on September 1, 2026, at 20:00 GMT+8, via an online event on mi.com — and the teaser confirms POCO’s continuing partnership with Bose for onboard audio.

POCO F9 Series Launch: What’s Officially Confirmed

The launch visual reveals two color options — a clean white/silver finish and a deep red variant — both showing a distinctive camera module with a “Sound by Bose” branded speaker grille integrated directly next to the lenses. Built on the Redmi K100 Foundation

Like previous F-series phones, the F9 lineup is expected to be a global rebrand of Xiaomi’s Redmi K100 series from China. Based on extensive leaks and certification listings — though not yet officially confirmed by POCO — the lineup is expected to include the F9 Pro and F9 Ultra, both carrying model numbers already spotted on regulatory databases including Singapore’s IMDA and Indonesia’s TKDN platforms.

Both models are rumored to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, support 100W fast charging, and carry IP69 durability ratings — though these details remain unconfirmed leaks until POCO’s official reveal.

Why the Bose Partnership Matters

POCO first introduced Bose-tuned audio with the F8 series, and its return here suggests the company sees onboard sound quality as a genuine differentiator rather than a one-off gimmick. A dedicated woofer unit built into the camera module — visible clearly in the teaser — points to a more serious hardware investment in audio than most phones in this segment typically get. You can track POCO’s official specifications as they’re confirmed via POCO’s global website.
