POCO is on the brink of unveiling its much-anticipated POCO F6 series smartphones, with the spotlight currently on the impending launch of the POCO F6 Pro. The latest development comes from Thailand’s NBTC certification, where the upcoming POCO F6 Pro smartphone has been spotted, indicating that its official release is imminent.
The Rumored POCO F6 Pro
The device bearing the model number 23113RKC6G has obtained NBTC certification. Is expected to be named POCO F6 Pro, for the smartphone release. Although specific details about its features are limited in the certification it does confirm that the device will be compatible with 5G networks.
Interestingly the model number shares similarities with the Redmi K70 smartphone originally introduced under the model number 23113RKC6C. This suggests that the POCO F6 Pro could potentially be a version of the Redmi K70 customized for both Indian markets as indicated by recent TUV Rheinland certifications with model numbers 23113RKC6G and 23113RKC6I respectively.
To clarify the letter codes within these model numbers represent variants; C for Chinese, G for global, and I for markets. These details were initially discovered through IMEI listings associated with smartphones from the POCO F6 series.
Taking cues from the specifications of the Redmi K70 in China it is expected that POCO will outfit the POCO F6 Pro with a 6.67-inch OLED display featuring a resolution of 3200×1400. An impressive 120Hz refresh rate. This OLED screen is anticipated to support technologies like Dolby Vision and HDR10+ while achieving a peak brightness of up to 4000 nits. The POCO F6 Pro is set to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor promising performance. It comes with HyperOS, a customized version of Android 14 pre-installed.
