Due to the present coronavirus pandemic, all are maintaining lockdown for safety. As maximum stores need to keep close, large essential product suppliers are bringing their offline services to online. Some of them like amazon started online-to-offline services for groceries too. But what about the snacks items?

Well, World’s one of the biggest beverage and snacks giant and also our lovable PepsiCo brings a solution to us. It launches two new websites following the direct-to-customer model. The two websites are snacks.com and pantryshop.com. The customers can get their orders directly from the company if they order through these two sites.

As per reports, last month, snacks and beverage items of PepsiCo sold 10% more than normal time. Because most of the customers store the items for the lockdown period consumption. Company estimates, an unpredictable crisis may occur after a certain time if they didn’t take any step. So, they planed these two websites and execute.

The first website I mentioned, snacks.com, is containing the catalog of Frito-Lay products like Lay’s, Doritos, and more. On the other hand, pantryshop.com has a different kind of products a customer can go for.

This move not only fulfill the crisis of the snacks and beverage products, but the company can reach directly to its customers without any middle man. The company says it will deliver the orders within two working days.
