Peddi Box Office Day 3: Ram Charan’s Blockbuster Storms Past ₹144 Cr — Is a ₹200 Cr Run Inevitable?

Ram Charan’s Peddi is on an absolute roll at the Indian box office, and the numbers are only getting bigger. After a thunderous opening, the film has crossed ₹143.50 crore gross in just three days — and if Sunday plays out the way trade analysts expect, a ₹180–185 crore opening weekend is firmly on the cards.

What’s Driving the Numbers?

Saturday saw Peddi gross approximately ₹33.50 crore — a solid 10% jump over Friday — signalling strong word-of-mouth momentum. The Telugu heartland remains the backbone of the film’s performance, with collections in the coastal Andhra districts reportedly rivalling mega-blockbusters like Pushpa 2 and Kalki 2898 AD.

Nizam showed an impressive ~15% uptick on Saturday, while Andhra had a minor dip typical for Thursday-release films over weekends. However, experts are projecting a strong Sunday recovery in AP. With the Telugu states already at ₹113+ crore in three days, the ₹200 crore milestone in the region looks like a matter of when, not if.

Outside Telugu states, Karnataka is performing decently, while the Hindi-dubbed version has struggled to find its footing — a recurring challenge for Telugu blockbusters going pan-India. Can Peddi Hit ₹200 Cr in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana?

The ₹200 crore mark in Telugu states alone is looking very achievable, provided the film maintains its current hold in the coming weekdays. The extended four-day weekend should push the all-India gross to ₹180–185 crore, giving Peddi one of the biggest opening weekends for a Telugu film in recent history.
