Paulo Dybala agrees five-year contract renewal with Juventus

Paulo Dybala is all set to reach an agreement with Juventus regarding a new contract. The player is in his final year of the contract and was attracting interest from a number of clubs. But now, it seems like he will end up staying with the Bianconeri after all.

The Argentinian will sign a five-year deal with Juventus until 2026. His salary will be around €10 million per season with add-ons included. The official announcement can be expected in the upcoming days from the club about the renewal.

Dybala told Alexander Zverev, the winner of the Nitto ATP finals in Turin about his future: “Maybe, maybe … But I think if you come here in the next five years you will find me.”

The forward has not had a very smooth ride in Turin. Injuries have bothered him for the last few years, but he remains one of the best players in the world in his position. The 28-year-old is in his prime years as a footballer and will feature for Juventus until he is 33 if he runs out of his contract.

Max Allegri has counted on Paulo Dybala time and time again this season. He has scored three goals and provided three assists in nine games since the start of the Serie A season. With the number 10 being undroppable in his current form, Juventus can count on him for the years ahead as well.

Juventus take on Chelsea in the Champions League tonight, and after being uncertain due to his injury, he will feature in the team after all.
