Paris-Saint-Germain vs Rennes: Match Details

Team News and Lineups

PSG head into the new season with a clean bill of health — no injury worries for Luis Enrique to juggle. Rennes, meanwhile, will be without midfielder Mahdi Camara, who’s suspended for the trip to Paris. Predicted lineups and confirmed XIs are typically announced around an hour before kick-off, so check back close to match time for the official team sheets.

Prediction

History is firmly on PSG’s side, and opening the season at Parc des Princes rarely goes well for visitors. Expect the champions to control possession and pace from the start. Prediction: PSG 3-0 Rennes.

Head-to-Head Record

PSG’s dominance in this fixture is hard to ignore. Across their history, Paris Saint-Germain have won 22 meetings, Rennes have won 9, with 6 draws between the two sides. It’s a lopsided rivalry, and the Parisians will look to extend that gap further on opening day.
