India won the 3rd test and make it 2-1, proving that they are still in the game

India comfortably won the 3rd test against England in the 5 match test series and make it 2-1.

Chasing a huge total of 521 in the fourth-innings, England collapsed to 62/4 during the 1st session of the fourth day’s play at Trent Bridge. When it seemed like the hosts would fold meekly, Jos Buttler stood up & played an outstanding innings, a defiant maiden test century.

In the 2nd session India was creating chances but was not able to convert it & get wickets. Towards the end of the day, in the 3rd session Jasprit Bumrah sliced open the game for the visitors as India took the 2nd newball. Bumrah was unstoppable by that time by producing a searing spell. His five-wicket haul has taken India to the verge of registering a famous overseas triumph.

The important numbers from the 3rd test in Nottingham are :

1 – Rishabh Pant and Kl Rahul are the first pair of teammates to take more than five catches each in the same test match.

2 – Five-wicket hauls for Jasprit Bumrah from four tests. He is the third Indian fast bowler to achieve this feat after Mohammad Nissar (1936) and Manoj Prabhakar (1989).

3 – Catches taken by Kl Rahul in the match thus far is the most by any fielder in a single test on England soil.

4 – Dismissals effected by Rishabh Pant is the most number of dismissals effected by an Indian wicket-keeper on test debut.
5 – Instances of Ishant Sharma(11) dismissing Alastair Cook in tests. Only Morne Morkel(12) has dismissed the legendary England opener on more occasions.
6 – Wickets taken by jasprit bumrah(21) from four test matches thus far is the most by any Indian fast bowler after his first four tests. The previous best was 19 wickets by Venkatesh Prasad and Munaf Patel.

Rahi Sarnobat becomes first Indian pistol shooter to clinch gold in Asian Games 2018, as India gets its 4th gold

Rahi Sarnobat, after two rounds of shoot-off, won gold in the women’s 25 m Pistol event.

After her win, she said that the approach to shooting in India has changed. “We have Olympic medals as well as Commonwealth medals. We train in better venues, (have) good coaches and I think that reflects in our shooting..” the 23-year-old said.

After clinching back-to-back golds at the 2010 Delhi and 2014 Glasgow CWG in the 25m pistol event, Rahi Sarnobat was forced to take a nearly year-long break from the range due to an elbow injury.

Rahi Sarnobat is a veteran in shooting and has won bronze in the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon. After finishing fourth in one of the two World Cups this year, the 27-year-old was looking to register his first major win at the 2018 Asian Games, since making her comeback.

Rahi had won her first gold medal at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games in Pune. Hailing from Kolhapur in Maharashtra, Rahi was India’s first pistol shooter to win gold medal at the world cup. She won the 25 m pistol event in the ISSF World Cup in Changwon in 2013.

Lara must traverse the environment and combat enemies with firearms and stealth as she explores semi-open hubs. In these hubs, she can raid challenge tombs to unlock new rewards, complete side missions, and scavenge for resources which can be used to craft useful materials.

This one has a huge leap in terms of both graphics and gameplay. The setting and narrative are based on Mayan and Aztec mythologies, consulting historians to design the architecture and people of Paititi. The gameplay has been adjusted based on both fan feedback and the wishes of Eidos Montréal, incorporating swimming and grappling while increasing difficulty tailoring.

Battlefield V

The Battlefield V is also the continuation to the Battlefield chapter that has made an impact in the gaming world. developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts.

The game will be released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 19, 2018. The game will continue on from its precursor Battlefield 1 by focusing on World War II.

Battlefield V will focus extensively on party-based features and mechanics, scarcity of resources, and remove “abstractions” from game mechanics to increase realism. There will be an expanded focus on player customization through the new Company system, where players will be able to create multiple characters with various cosmetic and weapon options.

The game will feature several new multiplayer modes, including the “continuous” campaign mode “Tides of War“, “Royale“, and “Grand Operations“. The Grand Operations mode is an expansion of the “Operations” mode introduced in Battlefield 1, which focuses on matches taking place across multiple stages to simulate a campaign from the war.

Metro Exodus

Metro Exodus is the third installation to the Metro video game series based on Dmitry Glukhovsky‘s novels. It has been developed by the Ukrainian Malta-based studio 4A Games and published by Deep Silver. The game is scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on 22 February 2019.

Like the other Metro games, this is also a first-person shooter game with survival horror and stealth elements. Set in the post-apocalyptic wasteland of the former Russian Federation, the player must cope with the new hazards and
engage in combat against mutated creatures as well as hostile humans.

The player wields an arsenal of hand-made weaponry which can be customized through scavenging materials and a crafting system. The game features a mixture of linear levels and sandbox environments.

It also includes a dynamic weather system, a day-night cycle, and environments that change along with the seasons as the story progresses

Control

The makers of Max Payne series have come up with a unique game named Control. The game has been developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by 505 Games. Control is set to be released in 2019 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

In the game, players fight against enemies using The Director’s Pistol, which is a firearm which can be transformed into different shapes. The pistol can also be upgraded to enhance its combat efficiency.

In addition to that players will have access to various supernatural and telekinetic abilities. For instance, she can use debris to form a defensive shield and hurl objects towards enemies, using them as weapons.

Players can acquire Objects of Power by completing side quests or exploring the game’s world. They are items which can be used to unlock new skills, such as the ability for Jesse to levitate in the air.

Remedy added that the game is less linear than its previous games and that players would have plenty of opportunities to explore.

Saurabh Chaudhary, age 16, wins gold in 10m air pistol at the Asian Games 2018

Saurabh Chaudhary at the age of 16 years becomes the fifth Indian shooter to claim a gold in the Asian Games history

The ages of Indian champions are dropping, or so it seems at least in shooting. 19 years old, Lakshay Sheoran won silver in trap shooting on Monday. Saurabh Chaudhary went better on two accounts. He is 16 and won a gold medal in 10m air pistol at the 18th Asian Games.

It was India’s third gold medal of the Games. Abhishek Verma, too, contributed a bronze from the same event. Later Sanjeev Rajput added a silver from 50m rifle 3-positions. That meant India bagged one gold, one silver and one bronze from the shooting ranges for the day. And added to the two silver and one bronze India won in shooting on Monday.

Saurabh Chaudhary in his first senior event showed a lot of maturity and calmness. He beat 2010 World Champion Tomoyuki Matsuda on the penultimate shot in the 24 shot final. He aggregated 240.7. Japan’s 42-year-old Matsuda misfired in the 23rd shot, an 8.9, to settle for silver. He scored 239.7.

Everyone’s expectations from Saurabh was very high this time. But they didn’t think that he could match the likes of Jaspal Rana, Randhir Singh, Jitu Rai and Ronjan Sodhi at such a young age. He made all of them happy by winning the gold. He has also broken many world records while winning the gold medal at the ISSF Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany , a couple of months back.

Saurabh Chaudhary’s father is a farmer. He hails from Kalina, a small village where farming is the main occupation on the banks of Hindon river in Meerut tehsil in Uttar Pradesh. It is just under 30 kilometres from the main city of Meerut. There are just under 500 families and less than 4,000 people. The literacy rate in Kalina is among the highest in the state. “I like farming. We don’t get much time off from training but whenever I do, I go back to my Village (Kalina) and help my father. ” Saurabh said. He took to shooting only three years ago. He trained at Amit Sheoran’s Academy in Binauli near Baghpat. The Academy is named after a great freedom fighter Baba Shah Mal, who hailed from the area and took on the might of the British.

Saurabh Chaudhary said “I did not feel any pressure. I just came to compete and do my best.” He added, “I have been in good form and given good results and trained hard.” He turned from a young boy of 16 into man, who won a gold in the 10m air pistol for India.

Intel Pentium Gold G5400 processor makes its way to India

Good news Intel fans!!! A new & updated Pentium finally lands in India with a price tag of Rs.4,850

Intel has already has made a revolution in the budget level processing to cope up with AMD. The new Pentium is much more improved and way better than the best Intel budget processor – Intel Pentium G4560.

The new Pentium Gold G5400 is based on the Coffee Lake architecture with 14nm process. Also, it has a higher clock frequency than its predecessor.

Specs:

The core count remains the same of 2 Cores. You get Intel’s proprietary Hyperthreading technology that accounts 4 threads for the processor. Both the cores are clocked at 3.7 GHz base frequency.

Also, you get a good amount of cache memory of about 4MB Smart Cache. The processor supports the modern DDR4 2400Mhz RAM with max support up to 64GB.

And there comes the inbuilt graphics section, where Intel will not fail you with the G5400. The processor has Intel® UHD Graphics 610 that has support for 4K graphics at the 60Hz refresh rate.

The processor has a base graphics frequency of 350 MHz and maximum Dynamic graphics frequency up to 1.05 GHz. If compared with the Ryzen 3 2200G which is about double the price of this one, delivers almost similar. Though the architecture and latency of the Ryzen 2200G make it better.

The thing is that the Pentium G5400 gold is a revolutionary dual-core processor when compared with its price. Also, this Intel processor supports Intel’s Optane Memory platform.

Also, the processor has a low TDP of about 58W, which is quite good for a dual-core processor. And there you get the DirectX 12 supports with the processor as well…

These processors are compatible with Intel 300 Series chipset based motherboards. These are available in adequate in the market and are also cheap.

The processor which was until this mid-2018 was available only via Amazon.com, makes its way to every retail or online store in India. The processor is priced quite in accordance with its predecessor…

Ever faced Internet Connectivity problem while you are outside of your local area? If not then Congratulations, but if yes then also Congratulations. Cause Google is trying to sort out this problem.

Actually, this is not their intention. Their motto is something different, but quite similar to it.

We all know, in the World there are so many places where Internet Facility doesn’t reach yet. Google is trying to bring that kind of places under Internet Accessible area.

So, how will they do it?

As mentioned in the title, Project Loon is the answer.

How does it work?

To distribute an internet service, the Stratosphere is the best layer we can access. From that part, a single balloon can spread the internet service to a wider area.

All the balloons used for this purpose are equipped with

ANTENNAS to transmit connectivity from ground stations, across a balloon mesh network, and back down to a user’s LTE phone.
SOLAR PANELS to give supply power directly to equipment in the day and to charge the battery which will supply power at night.

FLIGHT CAPSULE to hold the electronics that command and control the Loon system.
PARACHUTE to guide the balloon safely back to Earth after its flight during deploy time.

There will have the ground stations, which will be connected with the Internet Service Provider. The ground station sends the incoming signal to the nearest balloon. Afer that signal will be relayed across the network and users can easily access the internet with an LTE Supported smartphone coming back from the loon network.

A large number of balloon groups will spread through the Stratosphere to spread the proper problem free internet service worldwide.

These Balloons are capable to endure harsh conditions in Stratosphere
Easy to manage during launching and after landing
These can last more over 100 days in Stratosphere.
These balloons can be designed with Autonomous Navigation system easily in comparison with the other flying objects.

How they launch this balloons?

Google designed Autolaunchers to launch that huge balloons. Those launchers are capable to launch a new balloon in every half an hour.

After coming back of a balloon, rescue teams will locate first with the navigation system and collect all the equipment along with the balloon.

This project is under the testing period. When it will be applied, all the internet connectivity problems will be gone for forever.

India wins its first ever medal, a bronze medal, in Sepak Takraw at the Asian Games

The Indian men’s regu team lost to Thailand 0-2. But India picked up a bronze medal as both the losing semifinalists were also awarded a medal.

It was a ‘victory in defeat’ for the Indian men’s sepak takraw team. India settled for its maiden Asian Games bronze medal in this sport. They were beaten by a formidable Thailand in the semi-finals.

Sepak Takraw is one of the least heard sports in India. Still now more than half of the population doesn’t even know about this sport’s existence. So to win India’s first ever medal in this sport is a big achievement for this team. Sepak takraw, which directly translates to kick the ball, has been part of the Games program since 1990. India has participated in this sport since the 2006 edition. The sport has a huge following in the South East Asian countries and India is slowly catching with them. Thailand has won a whopping 22 gold medals at the Games and Myanmar is a distant second in the list with five gold.

The Indian team trained in Thailand for the past two months. This training made a huge difference, according to chief coach Hem Raj. Eight of the 12 members of the squad are from Manipur and the rest are from Delhi. The sport is quite popular in Manipur. It is primarily because of its proximity to Myanmar.

“Yes, that is how the sport became so popular in Manipur. It is close to Myanmar and it has always been easy to source equipment from there. Now we use synthetic balls but back in the day, we used to get balls made of bamboo. That was the traditional way of playing the sport,” said another team official Muhindro Singh Thokchom.

The men’s team is not done yet and promises another medal in regu. The women’s team failed to win a medal but they too are improving fast. “We should have a women’s medal in the next edition. As I said, we are only going to up from here,” summed chief coach Raj, who has already set his sights on a World Championship medal next month.

India demanded this device because of its amazing specifications and the price tag with which it was launched. We estimated that if this device launches in India it will have a price range of around Rs.16,000 and this becomes a reality today.
