AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs are being sold with a major price cut by retailers

0

AMD Ryzen 7000 Desktop CPU prices continue to fall, with some “X” SKUs falling even lower than their Non-X counterparts. While AM5 platform prices remain high, AMD Ryzen 7000 CPU prices are falling across a variety of retailers.

US-based retailers such as Microcenter, Amazon, and Newegg have some really nice deals to entice users to upgrade from their older AM4 platform, and these may also appear to be a push to clear out more Ryzen 7000 stock before the launch of the X3D parts, which feature enhanced gaming performance.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X starts at $587.89 USD, Ryzen 9 7900X starts at $417.98 USD, Ryzen 7 7700X starts at $342.98 USD, and Ryzen 5 7600X starts at $243.98 USD

The best part about these Microcenter deals is that you will receive a free 32 GB DDR5-6000 kit (as has been the case since the launch of these CPUs at Micro Center) as well as a free copy of Star Wars Jedi Survivor. Both of these are worth approximately $250 USD.

AMD is offering around $10 US off its Ryzen 7000 Non-X CPUs, but the retailer will further reduce the price by $20 US when purchasing a compatible AM5 motherboard. So you’re also saving $30 USD. The AMD Ryzen 9 7900X is less expensive than its non-X sibling, the Ryzen 9 7900. The Non-X parts include a bundled Wraith Prism heatsink, so you save money by not purchasing a separate cooler for these chips.

There have also been reports that AMD is reducing standard chip production capacity and shifting it to the next-generation Ryzen 7000 3D family, which will be available next month. Given the significant increase in gaming performance that the 3D V-Cache Zen 4 chips will provide, gamers and enthusiasts are likely to renew their interest in the AM5 platforms.

Mercedes becomes the first car company to get a Level-3 Autonomous certification in the US

The race is on for automakers to be the first to develop and implement a high level of autonomy in their vehicles. Mercedes appears to have recently won a crucial race against Tesla by becoming the first Level-3 autonomous car company in the United States. The Society of Automotive Engineers classifies Level-3 autonomy, also known as conditional automation, as the third level of driving automation (SAE).

In certain circumstances, it allows the car to drive itself, allowing the driver to take their hands off the wheel and feet off the pedals, but the driver must remain alert and take control at all times. Mercedes has come a long way in making its vehicles better and now implementing Level-3 Autonomous certification is a big deal.

The race to become the first Level-3 autonomous car company has been fierce, with many major automakers vying for first place. Tesla and its full self-driving feature were the front-runners, but they were unable to obtain the required certifications in time.

It’s worth noting that Level-3 autonomy is a regulatory grey area. Most countries do not yet have specific regulations for vehicles with level-3 autonomy, and it is unclear what the driver’s and car manufacturers’ legal responsibilities will be in the event of an accident. As a result, for the time being, this project has been approved only in the state of Nevada in the United States.

Drive Pilot, which is a dance between various technologies such as visual cameras, GPS, LiDAR arrays, radar and ultrasound sensors, and audio mics, is the key to Mercedes’ success.

The feature is currently only available in the most recent Mercedes S-Class and EQS Sedan models, which are currently in production and are expected to arrive on the Las Vegas strip in the third quarter of this year.

The development of Level-3 autonomy technology is only the first step toward fully automated driving, and much more work remains to be done. However, Mercedes’ achievement demonstrated that Level-3 autonomy is now a reality, and it set a new standard for the automotive industry.

Level-3 autonomy is expected to pave the way for the development of higher levels of autonomous driving, such as level-4 and level-5 autonomy, as technology advances. Levels 4 and 5 autonomy refer to vehicles that can drive themselves in all conditions without the need for human intervention. However, at these levels, technology is still in development, and it could be several years before we see it on a road near you.

Manchester United worried about Sir Jim Ratcliffe not meeting £6bn price tag

0

Sir Jim Ratcliffe might not be willing to meet Manchester United’s price tag of £6 billion. The British billionaire is the only party that has publicly come forth and confirmed their interest to purchase the club from the Glazers.

However, the price tag might be considered too high for Britain’s richest man. He has supported Manchester United since his boyhood days, and his running to take over the club was met with mixed reactions.

Manchester United worried that Sir Jim Ratcliffe will not bid for the club

Ineos, the company owned by Ratcliffe, has a negative impact on the environment. And this has resulted in the environmental organisation, Greenpeace, to ask the club not to consider his bid.

There has also been interest from Asia, the US and the Middle East to take over Manchester United from the Glazers. However, the bidding war has not quite begun yet.

The prospect of owning one of the most popular clubs in the world will appeal to the rich all across the globe. But no matter who inherits the club from the Glazers, they will have a lot of expectations to meet considering the negative sentiment that runs among the United faithful about the current overlords.

Under Erik Ten Hag, Manchester United have been able to revive their form on the pitch. But, work needs to be done on the maintenance of Old Trafford, and improving the sustainability of the club as well.

WPL 2023 player auction to take place in the second week of February

After the auction for franchise ownership got done, it is time for the player auction of WPL. BCCI has stated that instead of going with the draft procedure, an auction will be held just like the Indian Premier League.

Women’s cricket has gained a lot of attention in the past few years and starting a T20 league for female cricketers will increase and make it even more mainstream. Just like IPL, the WIPL is going to give lesser-known cricketers more opportunities to get featured in the national team. The top female cricketers around the world will be participating in this league.

WPL 2023 player auction to take place in the second week of February

BCCI will be hosting the player auction in New Delhi in the second week of February. An interesting bidding competition is going to take place among the five franchise owners. However, BCCI hasn’t yet revealed the auction date of the league. The team list is ready and the league will have 22 games between the five cubs in total. Unlike IPL, this league will take place in Maharashtra.

The teams can select up to 15-18 players. A total of 5 foreign players will be there in the Playing XI out of which one player will be from the associate nation. The players who will not be selected but are in the “Registered Available Player Pool” will have an opportunity to play as a replacement.

Each franchise will have a salary purse of Rs 12 crore and approximately 150 players are expected to be there. The base price for uncapped players is Rs. 10 lakh and Rs 20 lakh. On the other hand, the capped players will have a base price of Rs 20 lakh, Rs 40 lakh, and Rs 50 lakh.

Why did Adani Group Stock crash by 20%?

The shares of the seven publicly traded firms owned by the Adani Group continued to decline on Friday after Hindenburg Research disclosed that it had taken a short position in some of the group’s securities, a claim the group denounced as baseless.

The conglomerate referred to the report on the organization as a malicious combination of selective misleading information and inappropriate, and it is considering suing the American investor over research that accused the company of Asia’s wealthiest person of “brazen” accounting scandals and market manipulation and accounting irregularities.

Why did Adani Group Stock crash by 20%?

Everything you need to know about Adani Group’s 20% Share Crash!

Adani Transmission shares fell almost 19%, Adani Total Gas shares fell 19.1%, and Adani Green Energy shares fell approximately 16% on the BSE in the early trading session, and these companies had their largest daily declines since mid-March 2020. Even as it began its ₹20,000 crore follow-on public offer (FPO), Adani Enterprises was trading more than 2% down.

On January 31, 2023, the offering will end. Shares will be sold in the range of ₹3,112 to ₹3,276. The flagship company of the conglomerate run by billionaire Gautam Adani announced on Wednesday that it has raised ₹5,985 crore from anchor investors in advance of the offer.

Later, in a statement posted to Twitter, Hindenburg asserted that it completely stands by its report and that it will support any legal action taken by the Adani Group. The Hindenburg report describes a web of Adani family-controlled offshore shell companies in tax havens from the Caribbean and Mauritius to the UAE, alleging that these entities were used to steal money from the group’s publicly traded enterprises while supporting money laundering, corruption, and taxpayer fraud.

Why did Adani Group Stock crash by 20%?

Adani Group has regularly rejected debt-related challenges. The Nifty and Sensex benchmark indices fell to three-month lows as a result of the decline in Adani stock prices, which also had an effect on the stocks of state-owned and private lenders with exposure to the firm.

Intel is to launch its Meteor Lake by H2 2023 while Lunar Lake getting a 2024 launch

0

Few days back Intel announced its Q4’22 earnings and provided a ‘update’ on its product launch schedule. Intel will launch two major product lines this year which will be the Meteor Lake and Emerald Rapids CPUs.

Intel has not confirmed whether the Meteor Lake launch will focus on mobile or desktop products at this time, but given rumours about a Raptor Lake-S refresh arriving around the same time, the desktop platform may have to wait until next year for a major update. Meteor Lake officially launches in the second half of this year, so despite claiming that it is ‘production ready,’ the company is not ready to discuss quarters.

Intel reiterates its plans for Lunar Lake, the upcoming low-power laptop processor.

These CPUs will most likely be offered alongside more capable Meteor Lake CPUs, succeeding Alder Lake-N, which debuted earlier this month. Following the long-delayed release of Sapphire Rapids Xeon data-center CPUs and the upcoming February Xeon workstation launch, Intel has ‘accelerated’ the release of Emerald Rapids to the second half of this year. However, this product has already been delayed from its original late 2022 release date.

Intel made no mention of any of the rumoured client products that have recently been mentioned in leaked roadmaps. Desktop Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs and Alchemist+ GPUs dominate.

Malo Gusto to sign for Chelsea in June 2023: Done deal

0

Chelsea have agreed a deal with Lyon for the transfer of Malo Gusto during the summer transfer window. The Blues will be paying a sum worth €30 million for the right-back, who will be the highly anticipated back-up to Reece James.

The Cobham academy graduate has had to deal with several long-term injuries which have kept him out of action for months. And during that time, Chelsea’s performances have gone down as well. James is close to making a full recovery, and Gusto will be his deputy from the coming season.

Malo Gusto to join Chelsea this summer as Reece James alternative

Lyon will be keeping the player on loan for the remainder of the season as the deal has been agreed. He becomes the second new signing for the West London club after they sealed an agreement for Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig

The France international will be joining in the summer as well, and his arrival was secured last month.

Laurent Blanc, the head coach of Lyon, had confirmed that his squad would not be depleted during the January transfer window. And while that statement has held true, Malo Gusto will be making the move to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

Not only will the competition push both players to be better, but both will be able to help the team when needed. James is one of Chelsea’s most vital attacking threats, and his absence has held the team back significantly. And an attack-minded right-back like Gusto is the perfect alternative to James in case he picks up another injury or needs to be rotated to avoid excess strain.

Intel CEO might have just admitted of the company falling behind rival TSMC

0

During the analyst call, Intel Corporation’s CEO, Mr. Patrick Gelsinger, commented on his company’s latest position. Mr. Gelsinger took over as CEO of Intel almost two years ago, and he is a towering figure in the chip industry. His tenure at Intel began during another period of slowing in the company’s history, but this time it faced a new competitor in the form of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC).

Intel and TSMC are now neck and neck in chip manufacturing, and the CEO stated during the earnings call that he believes his company will achieve process performance parity next year.

Analysts had already begun to warn ahead of Intel’s earnings report that not only would the results for Q4 2022 disappoint but that investors should also brace themselves for low guidance for the first quarter of this year. Intel did not disappoint on either front, with revenue of $14 billion and earnings per share of 10 cents in the fourth quarter of 2022. Analysts, on the other hand, predicted that the company would earn $14.5 billion in revenue and 20 cents per share.

Intel

Guidance for the first quarter was just as bad, if not worse. Intel forecasted revenue of between $10.5 billion and $11.5 billion, with a loss of 15 cents per share. Analysts, ever optimistic in this case, expected the company to earn 25 cents per share and generate $13.96 billion in revenue. The company’s refusal to provide any guidance beyond the first quarter was the final nail in the proverbial coffin.

During the company’s post-earnings call, Intel’s CEO spoke to analysts. Right away, he admitted that the results fell short of what Intel had ‘expected of itself.’ He also mentioned the poor macroeconomic environment. Nonetheless, the executive remained upbeat about usage levels, pointing out that the high personal computing usage during the coronavirus pandemic appears to have stuck.

Weston McKennie to sign for Leeds United on loan with buy option for €33m

0

Juventus have agreed a deal with Leeds United for the transfer of Weston McKennie. The American midfielder will be making the move to the Premier League in the coming days, as a total agreement is in place between the two clubs over the move.

McKennie will be joining on a loan deal with the option to make it permanent for €33 million plus add-ons. The transfer has been given the here we go signal by Fabrizio Romano which means that it is only a matter of time before the move is announced.

Weston McKennie to join Leeds United in the coming days

Juventus head coach Max Allegri has confirmed that the USMNT international will be unavailable for their game against Monza on Sunday: “McKennie there won’t be tomorrow. I believe that the club has reached an agreement with its next club and, therefore, it is useless to summon him tomorrow.”

After the confirmation from Allegri, the player will be travelling to England in the next 24 hours to complete the medical. And once the formalities have been fully completed, his arrival will be made official by Leeds United.

After emerging as an important player for the Bianconeri in his early days with the club, his impact has dropped recently. The former Schalke man has not been able to put in his best performances as of late. And this has resulted in him choosing to leave.

Now, he will be linking up with Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson to add to the American contingent at Elland Road. And under Jesse Marsch, he will be expecting to recapture his form and excel in the Premier League.
