“Outer Banks” Is Getting An Official Podcast — And It’s Bringing The Pogues Together One Last Time

Netflix isn’t just giving fans a final season of Outer Banks — it’s giving them a farewell tour. A brand-new companion podcast is set to accompany the treasure hunters’ last ride, complete with emotional cast reunions.

Outer Banks: The Announcement

Netflix is officially launching “Outer Banks: The Official Podcast,” hosted by longtime OBX super-fan and Chicks in the Office co-host Ria Ciuffo, following the successful format of previous companion podcasts for Bridgerton and One Piece.

What To Expect

The podcast drops the same day the 10-episode final season hits Netflix, designed as the ultimate companion piece for fans binging the crew’s last ride. Episodes 1 through 5 feature host Ria Ciuffo sitting down one-on-one with each core Pogue: Chase Stokes (John B), Madelyn Cline (Sarah Cameron), Madison Bailey (Kiara Carrera), Jonathan Daviss (Pope Heyward), and Carlacia Grant (Cleo Anderson).

Episode 6, the finale, features emotional group reunions reflecting on five seasons of making the show, pairing Chase Stokes with Jonathan Daviss, and Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, and Carlacia Grant together. Full video episodes stream directly on Netflix, while audio-only versions release on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other podcast platforms.

A Massive Farewell Month

The podcast is just one piece of a bigger send-off.Netflix is also hosting “Pogues For Life: A Fan Farewell Event” in Los Angeles on August 15, featuring the inaugural fan-voted “Pogue Awards,” a live cast Q&A, and an advance screening of the Season 5 premiere, livestreamed globally on Tudum.com.

What’s Coming In The Final Season

The stakes couldn’t be higher heading into the finish line. Following the tragic loss of JJ in Morocco, the crew is stranded far from home, having lost the Blue Crown and facing a gauntlet of familiar threats — with Chandler Groff still at large, Dalia and the Corsairs closing in, and the Kooks ensuring the Pogues have no home to return to.

Outer Banks has built its massive fanbase on treasure-hunting adventure in the tradition of classic adventure fiction, and this farewell season promises to deliver one last high-stakes hunt before the credits roll for good.
