🎬 The Shows, Elaborated

1. Secret Stories: Roslin (Malayalam) — JioHotstar, Feb 27

Directed by Sumesh Nandakumar and presented by powerhouse producer Jeethu Joseph, Roslin is the psychological thriller that’s already got Malayalam OTT audiences talking. The story follows Roslin (Sanjana Dipu), a teenager haunted by vivid nightmares of a mysterious green-eyed stalker attempting to kill her. Her parents dismiss it as overactive imagination and plan counselling — until a man with eerily matching green eyes (Hakkim Shah) actually appears at their doorstep. Starring Meena, Sanjana Dipu, and Vineeth, the series explores trauma, suppressed memory, and the terrifying moment reality catches up with a nightmare. Available in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Bengali, and Marathi.

2. Thadayam (Tamil) — ZEE5, Feb 27

Written and directed by Navinkumar Palanivel, Thadayam is a gritty Tamil crime thriller inspired by real events. Sub-Inspector Adhiyaman (Samuthirakani) begins investigating a series of gruesome murders along the Tamil Nadu–Andhra Pradesh border, slowly uncovering a chilling ritualistic connection between the killings. The series promises layered characters, procedural depth, and a moral complexity that rises well above standard police procedural territory.

5. Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies (Malayalam) — Netflix, Feb 19

Already streaming on Netflix, this ring-of-rowdies drama brings a restrained, performance-driven approach to its social commentary. A polished Malayalam production with controlled pacing and moody visuals — perfect for viewers who prefer their dramas emotionally intelligent.
