Orry Just Revealed the Dark Chapter That Quietly Made Him Unshakeable

Public figures rarely admit what actually toughened them up — usually it’s a highlight reel. But in a candid new interview, internet personality Orry did the opposite: he opened up about a genuinely low point in his life and explained, in his own words, how it became the reason nothing seems to rattle him anymore.

Orry: Updates

What Orry Actually Said

In the interview, Orry described 2021 as an unusually dark and difficult period in his life, one that put him through a level of hardship he says he’d never experienced before. He recalled being told repeatedly that he was strong enough to get through it, even though, in his words, he didn’t feel like he needed that kind of strength at the time.

Looking back now, he credits that phase with reshaping how he processes criticism. He explained that the experience effectively made him numb to negativity, so much so that when he later became a public figure and faced significant online hate, none of it affected him the way it might have otherwise.

Why He Says He’d Actually Thank Her

In a surprising turn, Orry suggested he’s grateful for that period rather than resentful of it. He explained that watching people “puff up” under pressure and public scrutiny made him realize his own resilience was unusual — and that without going through that difficult stretch, he might not have developed the mental toughness he later relied on, including during his run on Khatron Ke Khiladi 15.

When directly asked what had actually happened between him and Amrita Singh, Orry kept things characteristically vague, declining to elaborate further and simply implying that the situation had resolved itself over time.

The Bigger Picture

This isn’t the first time Orry has spoken candidly about fame, criticism, and the pressures of public life. Known for turning nearly every interview into a mix of humor and unexpected honesty, his willingness to discuss a genuinely tough chapter — rather than gloss over it — is part of what’s kept audiences engaged with his story.
