OPPO Reno16 Series Launches in India on July 2 — The AI Camera Phone Built for Gen Z Creators

If you love shooting, editing, and sharing content straight from your phone, OPPO just announced something worth getting excited about. The OPPO Reno16 Series is coming to India on July 2, 2026, and it’s packed with AI camera tools, a wild new accessory, and everything a young creator needs — all without touching a third-party editing app.

OPPO Reno16: A Camera System That Actually Gets Creators

The Reno16 isn’t just another multi-camera setup — it’s been built around how young people actually shoot. The 50MP 3.5x Telephoto Portrait Camera mimics the classic 85mm portrait lens favoured by photographers, delivering natural subject separation, beautiful depth, and distortion-free clarity from a distance. Pair that with the 50MP Ultra-Wide and the 100° selfie camera, and you’ve got every angle covered without switching devices.

For video creators, 4K 60fps HDR recording works across all three focal lengths — ultra-wide, main, and telephoto — while 4K Auto Straighten and Zoom Free Video handle handheld drift and smooth zoom transitions automatically.

AI Tools That Replace Your Editing Apps

This is where the Reno16 Series really sets itself apart from the crowd:

AI Remix Collage — Drop in video clips, Live Photos, and stills, and let AI build a polished collage for you. Add custom text, cut out stickers, and share directly to social media without ever leaving your gallery. Shoot, Collage, Done.

Pop Cam — Nine curated aesthetic presets (Digicam, Retro, Instant Film, Light Leak, and more) built right into your native camera.

Popout 2.0 — Lets subjects burst beyond the frame with richer animations, now detecting not just people but also pets, landmarks, and everyday objects.

Dual-View Video 2.0 — Capture the moment and your reaction simultaneously, with flexible layouts and mid-recording focal length switching.

Natural Tone Imaging rounds everything out — a three-pillar system of Crystal Clear Image, True Colour, and Vivid Light that preserves individual skin tone identity rather than pushing everyone toward a single filtered output.

Meet OPPO Bubble — The Tiny Accessory That Steals the Show

OPPO Bubble is OPPO’s first smart camera companion, and it’s genuinely clever. Weighing just 27.5g, it magnetically attaches to your Reno16 and features a 1.73-inch AMOLED display that mirrors your rear camera preview in real time — making solo shots and group selfies effortless. It doubles as a wireless remote with a 10-metre Bluetooth range, a 550mAh battery, and IP54 dust and water resistance. You can even load it up with interactive pets, live images, and short videos as a personal style tag. It’s part tool, part accessory, and 100% Gen Z energy.
