The compact flagship segment gets interesting as Oppo’s new Reno 15 Pro Mini challenges the established Vivo X200 FE. Both phones feature 6.3-inch displays, massive batteries, and versatile camera systems, but they take different approaches. At ₹59,999, the Reno 15 Pro Mini costs ₹5,000 more than the X200 FE’s ₹54,999 price tag—does the extra investment deliver meaningful advantages?
Display and Design: Brightness Wars
The Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini sports a 6.32-inch LTPS AMOLED 1.5K display with 120Hz refresh rate and 3,600 nits peak brightness. Protected by Gorilla Glass 7i with IP66/IP68/IP69 ratings, it weighs 187 grams and measures under 8mm thick. The unique HoloFusion technology on Glacier White creates subtle 3D effects.
The Vivo X200 FE counters with a slightly smaller 6.31-inch display but delivers exceptional 5,000 nits peak brightness and 1,800 nits in high brightness mode, making it superior for outdoor visibility. At 186 grams, it’s marginally lighter and easier to grip one-handed.

Camera: Megapixels vs Optical Excellence
The Reno 15 Pro Mini headlines with a 200MP main sensor with OIS, joined by 50MP ultra-wide and 50MP 3.5x telephoto cameras, plus a 50MP selfie shooter. Oppo’s PureTone imaging pipeline is tuned specifically for Indian skin tones and lighting conditions.
The X200 FE takes a different route with ZEISS-branded optics: 50MP IMX921 primary (OIS), 50MP periscope telephoto (3x optical zoom), and 8MP ultra-wide, backed by a 50MP front camera. ZEISS tuning emphasizes portrait quality and zoom photography over raw resolution.
Performance and Battery Life
The Reno 15 Pro Mini’s Dimensity 8450 takes a balanced approach with consistent performance and controlled thermals, while the X200 FE’s Dimensity 9300+ offers stronger graphics performance but runs warmer under sustained load.
The X200 FE’s 6,500mAh battery with 90W charging easily pushes into a second day, giving it the endurance crown. The Reno’s 6,200mAh with 80W charging is impressive for its size but trails slightly.
Software Support: Long-Term Winner
Oppo delivers 5 years of Android OS updates and 6 years of security patches—the longest support in this comparison. The X200 FE runs Funtouch OS with OriginOS 6 eligibility but offers shorter update commitments.
For compact flagship enthusiasts at TechnoSports, the choice is clear: buy the X200 FE if battery life, brightness, and value matter most. Choose the Reno 15 Pro Mini if you prioritize camera versatility, software longevity, and don’t mind paying ₹5,000 extra. Official Oppo and Vivo sites have full specifications.
