OPPO launched its latest OPPO Pad 2 tablet alongside OPPO Find X6 – Know Everything

The Chinese smartphone giant OPPO has announced its new tablet called OPPO Pad 2, which by the way, will be revamped with new colors, a different logo, and UI to be called the OnePlus Pad, which we actually experienced with our hands.

With a big battery, a powerful Dimensity 9000 chipset, a 2K display, a beautiful design, smooth UI, this upcoming tablet will surely steal the show and be a priced possession for many. Not only OPPO announced this tablet in China but also launched its flagship Find X6 series along with OPPO Enco Free3 TWS earbuds.

Oppo Pad 2 Specifications

Let’s start with the display of the Oppo Pad 2. It features an 11.61-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels, providing crisp and clear visuals. The display also has a refresh rate of 144Hz, which is higher than most tablets in the market.

Additionally, the tablet comes with HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision support, providing an immersive viewing experience. With a pixel density of 296ppi and a peak brightness of 500 nits, the Oppo Pad 2 offers a stunning display that is perfect for streaming movies, playing games, or reading.

Under the hood, the Oppo Pad 2 is powered by a Dimensity 9000 processor, which is the latest chipset from MediaTek. This processor provides excellent performance and is capable of handling demanding apps and games. It is also paired with LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 storage, which ensures that the tablet runs smoothly without any lag or slowdowns.

The Oppo Pad 2 runs on the latest version of Android, Android 13, which is the newest operating system from Google. Pricing & Availability

The base variant of the OPPO Pad 2 tablet with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage has been priced at 2,999 Yuan (approximately Rs. 36,100), while the middle variant, which comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, is priced at 3,399 Yuan (approximately Rs. 41,000). The high-end variant with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is priced at 3,999 Yuan (approximately Rs. 48,100).

The tablet is available in two colour options, namely Light Feather Gold and Nebula Grey, and will be on sale from March 24 in China. The company has not disclosed any information regarding the global launch date of the device, although previous reports suggested that a different chipset may be used for the global version.

Though a variant of the OPPO Pad 2 was listed on GeekBench with the Snapdragon 888 chipset, however, in India, the same tablet will be renamed as OnePlus Pad and is expected to make its way into the market by next month. Seeing the pricing of this OPPO tablet, you can expect a starting price of Rs.35k in India (approx).
