Why the Find X9 Ultra Is a Big Deal
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra has been a China-only product until now — bringing it to the global stage is a clear signal that OPPO is ready to challenge Samsung and Apple at the very top of the flagship imaging market.
The Hasselblad co-developed camera system builds on the partnership that has already delivered the LUMO Image Engine and True Colour Camera technology seen on the Find X9, but OPPO promises this takes mobile photography to an entirely new level with next-generation optical engineering.
OPPO Europe CEO Elvis Zhou’s statement — “We believe the title must be earned” — is a pointed message aimed at the crowded 2026 Ultra smartphone market, where Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, and others all carry the label.
Full specifications will be revealed in phases ahead of the global launch, but the Barcelona announcement alone confirms this is one of the most anticipated camera phones of 2026. India, as OPPO’s largest global market outside China, is expected to be a priority launch destination.
