A new mid-range smartphone from Oppo called the Oppo A3 Pro has been launched in China. The first mainstream smartphone to pass IP69, IP68, and IP66 certification in recent memory is what makes this phone intriguing.
Oppo A3 Pro specifications and pricing
With a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution, the curved 6.7-inch OLED screen powers the A3 Pro. An 8MP front-facing camera, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, and an embedded fingerprint scanner are all components of this screen.
In addition, it is the first smartphone in China to pass the national military standard impact resistance test and to be certified as Swiss SGS Gold Label 5-start drop resistance. Therefore, Oppo asserts that the A3 Pro is scratch- and drop-resistant.
The A3 Pro is equipped with the Dimensity 7050 chipset. The mid-range phone has 12 GB of virtual RAM, 8 GB or 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 256 GB or 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A 5,000mAh battery with 67W rapid charging capabilities powers the phone.
Oppo’s Crystal Shield glass, which is located on the phone’s back, is designed to increase drop resistance. The Azure model has a glass back, and the blue and pink editions have vegan leather instead. An f/1.7 aperture 64MP primary camera and a 2 MP portrait lens are features of the Oppo A3 Pro.
The base 8/128GB variant of the Oppo A3 Pro costs CNY 1,999 ($276), while the top-tier 12/512GB model costs CNY 2,499 ($345). Open sales are set for April 19, although Oppo and its partner retailers are currently accepting preorders in China.
