Oppo announced the launch of the new Oppo A16K entry-level smartphone exclusive to the Indian market. Oppo claims that it has brought the A16K into the market with an intention to cater to those looking for a lightweight and stylish device at a light price point.
The Oppo A16K is very slim, it measures 7.85 in terms of thickness and weighs 176g, despite this, it has an impressive 4,230mAh battery. The weight of the device gets more impressive considering a screen size of 6.52″ display, which comes with All-day Eye Care comprising features such as a sunlight display, moonlight display, and AI Smart Backlight for a healthier and much more comfortable viewing experience.
You get a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset under the hood and its performance is enhanced by System Booster. The feature is a collection of system-level optimizations that aids hold the interface stutter-free almost always.
The battery of the Oppo A16K comes with additional features such as Super Night-time standby, optimized night charging, and Superpower Saving mode to improve its efficiency.
Coming to the camera specs, you get a 13MP shooter at the rear with an f/2.2 aperture along with a 5MP selfie shooter on the front with Front HDR and natural skin retouching.
The camera also has three new night filters to assist users to capture city nightscapes in different styles and moods.
The Oppo A16K boots ColorOS 11.1 out of the box so do not expect Android 12 OS. You get features such as FlexDrop, Three-Finger Translate, and Freeform Screenshot.
The device has an IPX4 splashproof rating for water resistance. The device will be available in India in Blue, White, and Black colors. It is priced at 10,490 INR for the 3GB RAM+32GB storage variant and is available for purchase starting today.
