OnePlus Pad 2 Pro Launches with Snapdragon 8 Elite and 12,140mAh Battery

The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro was unveiled in China on May 12th, and it comes with a 13.2-inch LCD display that offers a 3.4K resolution and a fast 144Hz refresh rate. Beneath the surface, the tablet things are driven by a Snapdragon 8 Elite with a 12,140mAh battery with wired quick charging. This one is specially designed for gaming, with a 34,857 square millimetre vapor chamber cooling system to keep the heat at bay.

The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro is a sequel to the OnePlus Pad Pro, which was announced in June 2024, featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a 9,510mAh battery, and a 12.1-inch 3K display. The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro is priced in China starting at CNY 3,199 (approximately ₹37,900) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. The 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB models are priced at CNY 3,499 (₹41,500), CNY 3,799 (₹45,000), and CNY 3,999 (₹47,400), respectively.

The tablet comes in Deep Sea Blue and Glacier Silver colors, and you can now pre-order it. The first sale will be held from 10 AM local time (07:30 AM IST) on May 20 on the official OnePlus e-store and other partner online retailers.

The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro offers a 13.2-inch 3.4K LCD screen (2400×3392 pixels), with a 144Hz refresh rate, 315ppi pixel density, 89.3% screen-to-body ratio, and 900 nits brightness, supporting Dolby Vision. It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite based on up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, runs Android 15-based ColorOS 15.

It has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. For gaming, it is capable of 2.1K resolution at 120fps. It also packs a 12,140mAh battery and 67W fast charging performance. The connectivity is Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB-C port. It also supports AI features and eight speakers for a rich audio experience. It weighs 675g and measures 289.61×209.66×5.97mm.
