OnePlus N6x 5G’s 7,000mAh Battery Could Make It a 2.5-Day Phone

OnePlus N6x: OnePlus just confirmed the one spec that could define the N6x’s entire identity — battery life that outlasts your weekend.

Ahead of its July 31 India launch, OnePlus has officially confirmed the battery details for the N6x 5G, and the numbers are hard to ignore. Straight from OnePlus’ own launch microsite, the N6x 5G packs a massive 7,000mAh battery, claimed to deliver up to 2.5 days of battery life on a single charge — based on OnePlus’ internal test lab results.

This continues a trend TechnoSports has been tracking across budget and mid-range launches this year, where battery capacity has quietly become one of the biggest differentiators as component costs rise elsewhere.

OnePlus N6x 5G: Official Battery Numbers

These figures come directly from OnePlus’ own testing, so real-world results will vary with individual usage patterns, screen brightness, and network conditions.

Colours Confirmed

The N6x 5G will launch in two finishes, each with its own OnePlus-branded personality:

• Burgundy Red — “Deeply Bold”
• Ice Blue — “Effortlessly Cool”

What’s Still Under Wraps

OnePlus has intentionally staggered its reveals in the run-up to launch, and several key specs remain unconfirmed for now: the processor, charging speed, camera setup, and other core features. Design teasers so far show a flat-panel build with a vertically aligned pill-shaped camera module, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and styling that leans closer to the Nord 5 series than the recently launched OnePlus N6.

Where This Fits in OnePlus’ Lineup

The N6x is the second phone in OnePlus’ newly created N-series, following last month’s OnePlus N6, and reports suggest it will sit positioned below that phone — likely priced under ₹20,000. That would put it in direct competition with entry-level offerings from Redmi, Realme, and iQOO in India’s budget segment, a space where battery life and charging speed often matter more to buyers than raw performance.

Bottom Line

A confirmed 7,000mAh battery with a claimed 2.5-day runtime is a genuinely strong headline spec for this price bracket, and if OnePlus’ real-world numbers hold up, the N6x 5G could become one of the strongest battery-focused phones in its segment. With the processor, charging speed, and camera details still to come, the full picture will only be clear once OnePlus takes the stage on July 31.
