OnePlus has announced OxygenOS 14, an operating system based on Android 14, for the global market. OnePlus phones will be the first to receive Android 14 features like the new Security Center, in addition to the company’s own bells and whistles like the new Trinity Engine for performance optimization and tools like File Dock and Smart Cutout for entertainment and productivity.
OxygenOS 14 features
Trinity Engine
The OxygenOS 14 operating system includes Trinity Engine, a powerful proprietary platform that integrates six cutting-edge technologies to instantly access the full potential of smartphone technology.
Trinity Engine, according to OnePlus, was developed to more effectively manage demanding circumstances including multitasking, heavy lifting, and prolonged usage.
CPU Vitalization, RAM Vitalization, and ROM Vitalization, the three primary parts of Trinity Engine, intelligently manage the internal resources of smartphones to give greater performance, longer battery life, and a long-lasting enjoyable experience.
Clone Phone 2.0
You can transfer network, account, and other data from the old OnePlus device to the new one using this software, as well as the content of the Wallet app with registered cards and the settings for the OnePlus watch.
Multi-screen Connect 2.0
You may share files and work across devices by connecting your OnePlus tablets and phones running OxygenOS 14 with this app. Even without any assistance from the user, it can automatically pair previously paired devices.
Fluid Cloud
The Fluid Cloud feature of the new Aquarmorphic UI displays notifications among bubbles, capsules, and panels in a “naturally merging and flowing way.”
The UI also includes three Earth-related AOD settings, new natural noises, and dynamic backdrop color changes based on the time, the material you are viewing, your interactions, etc.
Smart Cutout
The OxygenOS 14 Smart Cutout is similar to the Cutout Tool on iOS in that it allows you to long-press on an image to remove a person or animal from it. The isolated part is now transferable anyplace via copy-paste or sharing. It is able to recognize three subjects at once.
Security Center and other privacy features
An “Ask every time” permission pop-up for photos and videos, protection against malicious attacks, Auto Pixelate to automatically pixelate sensitive information like personal images, contact information, and numbers like credit cards, and a built-in chip for password management via NFC and encryption are all features of OxygenOS 14.
The new OnePlus OxygenOS 14 seems really good in terms of privacy and security.
