OnePlus 10R 5G smartphone to make its debut with 150W fast charging and Dimensity 8100 chip
We already know that OnePlus will release two new phones in India on April 28, one of which will be the OnePlus 10R, which will feature ridiculously fast 150W fast charging. Now it looks that the identical phone, albeit under a different brand, will be released first in China on April 21.
The phone, dubbed the OnePlus Ace, will be the first in a new line of phones. Readers with keen eyes will notice that Oppo recently employed the “Ace” logo, and this appears to be the source of inspiration for OnePlus’s new smartphone lineup.
The OnePlus Ace will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip and feature 150W fast charging, according to teasers that have gone live on Weibo and OnePlus’ Chinese website. Furthermore, the phone’s design has been revealed, which features a dual-textured back, a flat plastic frame, and triple rear cameras.
OnePlus Ace will not be following in the footsteps of Nord
The Ace is missing OnePlus’s signature “alert slider,” implying that it will follow in the footsteps of the Nord. This could also imply that phones in the series are less expensive than the company’s full-fledged flagships.
Regardless, the OnePlus Ace’s look and essential specs—at least the ones that have been revealed—are strikingly similar to the OnePlus 10R, which is only available in India.
The 10R will have two models—at least—one with 80W SUPERVOOC and another with “industry-leading” 150W SUPERVOOC charging, according to OnePlus’ India arm. This version, according to OnePlus, can be charged from zero to 100 per cent in 17 minutes.
The OnePlus 10R/OnePlus Ace maybe just be a rebranded Realme GT Neo 3 regardless of locale. This phone will soon be available in India. On April 28, OnePlus will release the OnePlus 10R, as well as the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G and OnePlus Nord Buds in India.
