OnePlus Ace 5 Extreme with Dimensity 9400+ and Triple-Chip Gaming Setup Launching in China on May 27
At its core, it features the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, built on top of an advanced 3nm process with a maximum clock speed of 3.73GHz. The chip, according to OnePlus, offers 35% faster CPU and 41% faster GPU over its predecessors. It also improves gaming power efficiency by 15%, with gaming performance overall increased by 8%. These enhancements are said to be provided by the company’s very own Fengchi Gaming Core, which is a system-level optimization done at the chip level.
The phone comes with a triple-chip configuration comprising the Dimensity 9400+ processor, a Lingxi Touch Control Chip, and a G1 Wi-Fi gaming chip. The Lingxi chip enables ultra-fast touch responses at a 3000Hz rate and is capable of five-finger 300Hz and ten-finger 290Hz sampling, reducing input delays in competitive gaming. OnePlus has secured esports certification from the Peace Elite League (PEL), confirming its suitability for professional mobile gaming.
The Ace 5 Extreme features a native 120Hz refresh rate for MOBA and open-world games, and can keep pace with video calls at 120FPS. According to performance tests, the device could reach 118.3 FPS in 1% Low FPS testing, which is the rate of consistency on the high-stress scene.
To put that in perspective, one of the top rival models could only achieve 60.8 FPS, demonstrating OnePlus’ clear performance advantage. The Ace 5 Extreme is designed for over five hours of sustained gaming without frame drops or thermal throttling. With this phone, OnePlus targets mobile gamers who demand top-tier graphics, responsiveness, and efficient power usage, all in a reliable gaming-centric package.
