OnePlus 11R will sport the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and bring back Alert Slider
OnePlus is all set to surprise everyone at its Cloud 11 launch event to be held on February 7th and will launch multiple products in New Delhi. So, before we talk about the event which indeed is an exciting thing because, after 3 long years, OnePlus is back focussing on the strong community it created.
So, the new OnePlus 11R 5G will also be launched at the event and it’s now confirmed to sport the last flagship SoC Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 which was used back in OnePlus 10T.
This is a big jump in terms of performance because last time, the OnePlus 10R used Dimensity 8100 Max and using this flagship SoC in an upcoming affordable flagship price category will indeed bring back OnePlus’s core philosophy which had been missing in the last few years. Though from the teasers it looks like this OnePlus 11R will be made out of plastic it will bring back the Alert Slider.
One of the most controversial decisions OnePlus took is by removing its iconic Alert Slider from its OnePlus 10R 5G and we along with others felt really bad about it. Now, the company has listened to its fans and is bringing back the Alert slider and its teasers indeed confirm that.
