At the Mobile World Congress 2023, OnePlus unveiled their recently introduced OnePlus 11 Concept smartphone. OnePlus recently debuted the OnePlus 11 in India and other international regions as its flagship smartphone. The second idea device from OnePlus is this one. The OnePlus Concept One featuring color-shifting glass technology and an undetectable camera was unveiled in January 2020 at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
Compared to the OnePlus 11 model, the OnePlus 11 Concept has a distinctive back design. Micro-liquid is pumped into it through pipelines on the back of the device.
Similar features can be seen in the camera module of the OnePlus 11 Concept, which contains Guilloché etching around the lens area and Active CryoFlux liquid flowing around the camera island. A magnetron-spluttering coating, which is made of metal and alloy that is deposited onto the case in minute amounts utilizing an electric field, frames the entire rear configuration.
Be aware that the back’s micro-liquid flowing pipelines aren’t simply for show; they have a purpose of their own. The OnePlus 11’s major feature, Active Cryoflux, is a cooling technique that OnePlus claims lower the phone’s temperature by up to 2.1°C. By raising the frame rate by 3–4 fps, provides gamers an advantage.
While charging, the Active Cryoflux material can also lower the phone’s temperature by 1.6°C. The claimed reduction in charging time is between 35 and 40 seconds.
Because of its leather finish and functionality for an undetectable camera, the OnePlus Concept One gained large attention. It had electrochromic glass, which was used to conceal cameras while not in use. Looks nice, doesn’t it? The inspiration came from a design by McLaren for some of its sports cars, which feature sunroofs that can be made opaque to screen out the light.
The electrochromic glass also served as a camera’s ND filter, which balances shadows and highlights to allow for greater detail to be captured in pictures.
