That playful chemistry is why fans have followed this show for years. Salman has shot the premiere episode already, so the wait is nearly over.

Salman Khan’s History With the Couch

This won’t be Salman’s first brush with the famous hamper. He has appeared on the show twice before:

With his brothers: a fun sibling episode alongside Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan.
With his father: a warmer, more personal conversation with Salim Khan.
His last appearance: 2016, which makes this solo return a decade-long gap.

Appearing alone this time means the focus stays entirely on him, which could make for the most candid episode of the season. He’s also busy on screen, with the film Monster lined up for an Eid 2027 release.

The Guest List Everyone’s Talking About

Beyond the premiere, the season is packed with names that should keep viewers hooked. Based on the reported lineup:

Episode pairing	Notes
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna	A South cinema favourite duo
Ananya Panday and Ananya Birla	The “two Ananyas” episode
Ibrahim Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan	Sibling pair on the couch
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan	Bollywood’s power couple
Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt	Sisters sharing the hamper
Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor	Two high-energy stars
Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani	Expected pairing, not confirmed
Vedang Raina, Sharvari Wagh, Lakshya	Younger names rounding out the season

Treat the list as the reported lineup, since the final episode order may change.

Why This Final Season Matters?

Koffee With Karan has been a fixture of Indian pop culture for years, known for its rapid-fire rounds, viral moments and candid confessions. Few talk shows get that kind of lasting grip on conversations, memes and headlines. If you want the background, see Koffee with Karan on Wikipedia.

Ending with Salman Khan feels symbolic. A show that built its name on starry conversations is closing out with one of the biggest names in Indian cinema, and fans are already guessing which iconic moments will return.

What to Expect From Season 9?

Nostalgia: expect callbacks to old episodes and famous moments.
Fresh faces: younger stars appear alongside established names.
Sibling and couple specials: many episodes are built around pairs, so look for plenty of banter.
A proper farewell: with the show ending, the finale will likely get an emotional send-off.
