What Is Obsession About?

The story follows Bear Bailey, a man secretly in love with his co-worker Nikki. After his pet cat dies, he buys a mysterious object called the “One Wish Willow” and wishes for Nikki to love him above everyone else. The wish works — but quickly turns terrifying. Nikki becomes dangerously obsessive, her memories warped, and her behaviour spiralling into violence.

Bear soon discovers the curse can only end with someone’s death. Every attempt to reverse it triggers tragic consequences — making this a love story that descends into pure psychological horror.

Think of it as a dark remix of the classic Monkey’s Paw trope — wishes that come true in the worst possible way.
