RTX 5080: NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 series is on the horizon, and it’s 2025’s year in focus. Bringing out an unbelievable source of noise in a leak, it turned out to be a wild gaming community, the ASUS RTX 5080, which was only sold in a European store. What with a Euro 2000 price tag that raised eyebrows, which is the intro of DLSS 4 with 4K technology that purports to change the gaming landscape the most.

Premium Performance at a Premium Price

NVIDIA's RTX 5080: A Game-Changer with DLSS 4 and a Hefty Price Tag

Raising the price of ASUS RTX 5080 by €1,699 (including 20% VAT) which is equal to about $1,456 without VAT, the retailers, therefore, make exceedingly good profits. Based on historical numbers, after ASUS marks up the price, the Founders Edition of the card might be available at a price between $1,200 and $1,300 in North America. It may be hard to believe this, but be sure this has been the order by the RTX 4080, the predecessor, at the beginning.

DLSS 4: The Next Leap in Gaming Technology

The source of this leak is probably the most exciting; the DLSS 4.0 is the improvement in the pending DLSS 3.5 technology, claims NVIDIA refreshed the performance and visual quality of DLSS. On the other hand, AMD is speculated to release the FSR 4 alongside the RDNA 4 GPU, this is where NVIDIA is making the correct move with DLSS 4 technology.

RTX 5080 Specs: A Glimpse into the Future

According to the leaked specs, this GPU will be a beast:

10,752 CUDA Cores
16 GB GDDR7 VRAM
360W TDP
30 Gbps memory speed (fastest in the lineup)

January 6th of the month is the date that was thrown around, but it may not be accurate since talks of a rumour about the release date which has been shifting back and forth. The RTX 5080, a good performer, is on the way to leading the graphics card market. That said, a certain statement is universally true. The advent of the next generation of GPUs will revolutionize both graphics and gaming tech and transport them to stratospheric horizons that are beyond our wildest dreams. Quite exciting!
