NVIDIA Unveils New Game-Ready Driver with DLSS 3 Support for Upcoming Titles and G-SYNC Enhancements

NVIDIA released a new GeForce Game Ready driver that provides game optimizations for Alan Wake 2: The Lake House, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, and No More Room In Hell 2 as well support for Red Dead Redemption with Reshade when running in Vulkan mode. The driver includes support for 32 new G-SYNC-compatible displays.

That support will extend to these PC titles and more, starting with today’s release of the second DLC for Alan Wake 2: The Lake House. The game from Remedy will feature nearly the entire suite of NVIDIA RTX technologies, including DLSS Super Resolution (DSR), Frame Generation, Ray Reconstruction, Path Tracing, and Reflex. Also out on October 22 in early access is No More Room in Hell 2, which we talked about back when Gamescom was having a 2024 Q&A. A news release announcing the sequel from developer Torn Banner Studios says it will feature DLSS Super Resolution, Frame Generation, DLAA, and Reflex.

No More Room in Hell 2, which we discussed during a Gamescom 2024 Q&A, also launches today in early access. The game is set to make use of NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution, Frame Generation, and Reflex as well. In two days, the strategy simulation game Industry Giant 4.0 will enter early access with similar NVIDIA features. Looking to the horizon, we have a couple of big hitters launching next week. And this October 29, Rockstar Games is finally releasing the long-awaited PC version of Red Dead Redemption where DLSS Super Resolution Frame Generation and Reflex will be implemented.

Then on October 31, BioWare will release Dragon Age: The Veilguard (a sequel to Inquisition) with DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation support in addition to raytracing reflections/ambient occlusions’ ReSh tests. Along with this upgrade, Guerrilla Games will launch Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered on the same day which consists of similar enhancements. Additionally, DLSS Super Resolution was added to Wayfinder yesterday as part of its version 1.0 launch.  Lastly, NVIDIA announced a new GeForce RTX Series 40 bundle focused on Ubisoft Massive’s Star Wars Outlaws, available at select retailers until November 12.
