The recognition positions NTT DATA (https://www.nttdata.com/global/en/) as a key entity in assisting organizations with the deployment and management of Artificial Intelligence within real-world operational environments. This includes applications across sectors such as manufacturing, transportation and logistics, energy and utilities, and smart cities.

NTT DATA’s methodology centers on integrating AI closer to the point of physical operations, enabling real-time responses from machines, sensors, and connected assets. The company launched its fully managed Edge AI platform in July 2024 to facilitate this operational integration.

Shahid Ahmed, Head of Edge Services at NTT DATA, Inc., underscored the critical need for secure and safe deployment for Physical AI’s transformative potential across industries. Ahmed stated, “NTT DATA’s portfolio of Physical AI solutions aims to build more intelligent operations that enhance productivity, strengthen operational performance, and deliver measurable business value.”
