What’s Happening on May 20?

According to reports, the NTRNeel glimpse and official title reveal — widely expected to be Dragon — are both set to drop at midnight on May 20, timed perfectly with Jr NTR’s birthday. The makers dropped a teaser post indicating the announcement is just seven days away, sending fans into overdrive.

But here’s where it gets even more exciting: reports suggest that the God of War announcement — Jr NTR’s mythological film with Trivikram Srinivas — could also be confirmed the same night. A potential Devara 2 update hasn’t been ruled out either, though no official word has come through on that front.

The film was originally scheduled for June 25, 2026, before being pushed to 2027. Tovino Thomas had initially been attached as the antagonist but stepped away citing Malayalam commitments — Shahid Kapoor is now reportedly in discussions to fill that role.

What About God of War?

Jr NTR is reportedly set to collaborate with director Trivikram Srinivas on God of War, a mythological drama that has been building buzz for months. While no official confirmation has emerged, the buzz around a simultaneous announcement on birthday night adds serious weight to the speculation.

His last theatrical release was War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan — a YRF Spy Universe film directed by Ayan Mukerji, currently streaming on Netflix. Needless to say, NTRs momentum is at an all-time high, and the double announcement on his birthday could send the internet into meltdown territory.
